Application for study

Attendence Study

the attendence study "Christian Education" (Pedagogics for Religion and Community)/ Social Work integrative for winter semester usually starts at 1. of September.

All documents required, as well as information on application according to the application-procedure and the obligatory visit of the YMCA University (info-seminar), you will find on this page below.

The accreditation conference held its meeting at 27. of May and has accredited following numbers of students for a study at the YMCA University Kassel:

Attendence Study (B.A.): 44 students

Online Study Social Work (B.A.): 18 students

Distance Study Christian Education (Pedagogics for Religion and Community) (B.A.): 10 students

Online Study Ethical Management (M.A.): 1 student

Application for the up-coming start of study - winter semester 2010 - is still possible in exceptions. Please contact our YMCA University secretariat office per telephone or e-mail regarding procedure.

The distance learning study programs / online study programs will start with winter-semester 2010/2011 (1. of September). Applications are still possible.

Part of application proceedings (precondition), is a conversation with the coordinator of the study program.

To get to know the YMCA-University Kassel and the faculty, we would like to invite you to one of our information seminars.

During the info-seminars you will get insight in:

The objectives and contents of study the YMCA University Kassel
Information about the vocational fields of operation in YMCA, community and social welfare ("Diakonie").

Opportunity for an interview with faculty and students

Accommodation: in guest rooms.

Costs: for lodging and boarding 25 Euro (two-days event).

The participation in one of our info-seminars is a precondition for application for attendence study at YMCA University Kassel.
